Nestled in the tranquil town of Burgau, Gasthof Zum Hirschen offers a delightful culinary escape. The scenic drive sets the tone, leading to a peaceful retreat. Upon arrival, the friendly staff made the check-in seamless, assisting with luggage like old friends. The room was comfortable, and after a long day, I truly appreciated the hot shower. Breakfast was a highlight, featuring freshly prepared local ingredients. Each morning, I looked forward to my reserved table, where the assortment of breads, meats, cheeses, and fruits was complemented by made-to-order eggs and crispy bacon. Dining at the restaurant was a treat as well, featuring a fusion of French, Italian, and Austrian cuisines. I savored each bite, from flavorful pasta to expertly cooked schnitzel. The ambiance strikes a balance between cozy and sophisticated, perfect for enjoying these culinary delights.
